Bright Bear is Now a Part of DataPath

Bright Bear Technology Solutions was founded in 2009, and was distinguished early on as a great place to work and as a company that puts people first. Today, Bright Bear has become a nationally recognized and award-winning technology provider that services customers throughout the country.

We’re proud to announce that on July 1st, 2020 Bright Bear was acquired by Datapath. Datapath is a technology provider and cyber security firm that has been in business for 15 years. Datapath is headquartered in Modesto, California with additional offices in Fresno and Irvine.

Datapath and Bright Bear share the same passion for people and technology, and with this acquisition, will become one of the largest technology service providers and managed security technology providers in California.

The Bright Bear team members that you work with will continue to work on your accounts and will now be backed by a larger team of specialists at Datapath. In addition, Bright Bear’s president, Nathan Phinney, will continue on at Datapath as General Manager for Southern California. Over the coming weeks and months, you will start to see the Datapath icon on your technology devices as we begin to apply some of the Datapath best practices and tools to help support your team. We will also start to apply some of our technology planning practices ensuring your organization is continuing to be proactive in aligning your technology with the objectives of your organization.

Even though the Bright Bear name and logo will change, the heart and vision of the company will continue as it becomes part of the Datapath team.
