Job Description: Bench Technician

Location: Dublin, OH

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $17 - $20/hour

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

·       Setup and Configuration: Efficiently setting up laptops and Chromebooks for deployment. This involves installing software, configuring systems according to company standards, and ensuring all devices meet operational requirements before shipping.

·       Shipping Preparation: Preparing devices for shipping which includes packing, labeling, and ensuring all shipments are logged correctly for tracking.

·       Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular stock checks, and managing inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of components and hardware. Responsibilities include ordering new stock, disposing of or recycling outdated or defective equipment, and keeping the workspace organized.

Key Responsibilities:

o   Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues on laptops and Chromebooks.

o   Perform quality checks on all outgoing devices.

o   Maintain detailed records of repairs, setups, and inventory movements.

o   Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

o   Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding data security and privacy during setup and repair processes.
